The Season Fixtures

 

The Valley of Peace Cricket Club season fixtures run from late November through to early April, with matches most Sundays and occasionally mid-week.

Please note we now have EFTPOS available at the bar on game days; cash is, of course, still welcome.

Following are the match and event fixtures for the 2023/24 season, as tabled on 28th September 2023:-

Nov 5th – vs New Zealand Over 70’s

Nov 12th – vs Wellington Wanderers (lost by 7 wickets)

Nov 19th – vs Hawkswood Wanderers (postponed)

Nov 26th – vs Team Boon

Dec 3rd – vs Millbrook CC

Dec 9th (Sat) – vs United Country & Vineyards CC

Dec 17th – vs Canterbury Vets (Over 60’s)

Jan 14th – vs Christchurch Police XI

Jan 21st – vs Swannanoa Cricket Club

Jan 28th – vs Christchurch Golf Club XI

Feb 11th – Christ’s College Old Boys XI vs Christchurch Boys High School Old Boys XI (school game)

Feb 18th – vs Hawkswood Wanderers (cancelled)

Feb 25th – vs Honest Trundlers

Mar 1st (Fri) – vs New Zealand Army Officers XI

Mar 3rd – vs Peninsula Goat Herders

Mar 8th (Fri) – vs Auckland Wanderers Police

Mar 10th – vs Deans’ XI

Mar 15th (Fri) – vs Canterbury Club XI

Mar 24th – Captain’s XI vs President’s XI

 

  Be at the ground no later than 10.30 am for an 11.00 am start. The traditional lunch and refreshments are available at the ground.
